Launched in 1982, Drachmann is Skagerak’s longest-living garden bench – and it’s still going strong. Inspired by the Danish poet and painter Holger Drachmann, the design strikes a timeless balance between Nordic nostalgia and modern simplicity. Durable in all kinds of weather, the bench ages with grace, taking on a silver-grey patina.

Care Instructions
As the wood is untreated, the surface will patinate over time and eventually turn into a beautiful silvery grey colour. If you wish to preserve or intensify the original honey-golden colour, use a suitable furniture oil on a regular basis. No matter what you choose, the wood will be resistant to everyday wind and weather thanks to the high content of natural oils. The product is usable in all types of wind and weather, all year round. However, during wintertime, it is advisable to store the furniture in an unheated room such as a garage or cellar.
