We’ve made it easy for you to support local makers by buying Irish this Christmas. We’ve put together a list of our favourite products in store that are made in Ireland and with prices starting from £22.50, there’s something for every pocket.

1. Faces Dish by Megan Made This

Belfast based ceramicist and illustrator, Megan Clingman, has created 25 limited edition pieces exclusively for Maven. They can be used many ways, a soap dish, somewhere to place jewellery or simply as a beautiful piece of art in their own right. Made from stoneware clay and underglaze, the pieces are cut out by hand and also hand painted.

2. Cosy Candle by the Maven Candle Project

Everyone's favourite, the Cosy Candle, is back to help you get through these dark and cold evenings. Our cinnamon, clove and orange candle is made of soy wax, with 45 hours burning time. Hand Poured in Northern Ireland

3. Stoneware Pourer by DWC x Maven

These limited edition pourers form part of the latest collaboration between Derek Wilson Ceramics and Maven. Thrown coloured grogged stoneware, electric fired to 1250º, dishwasher safe and completely beautiful. Made in Belfast.

4. Porcelain Cup by DWC x Maven

These limited edition porcelain cups are the result of the latest Derek Wilson Ceramics x MAVEN collaboration and only available at Maven. Why drink your tea from anything else?

Thrown porcelain with tenmoku glaze, reduction fired to 1300º, dishwasher safe and made in Belfast.

5. Cotton Scarf by Kathryn Davey

Available in rust, dijon or slate blue, these scarves are all made and naturally dyed by hand in Kathryn’s Dublin studio. Made from 100% organic cotton, they measure roughly 175cm x 127cm. The process of hand dyeing is labour intensive as the textiles have to be carefully dipped & re-dipped to achieve the shades you see. Machine wash cold with like colours and tumble or line dry.

6. Caman & Co County Print

Definitely without a shadow of a doubt, one of our best sellers at Maven. These prints, inspired by the colour, energy and passion for Irish sport Camán & Co. bring contemporary Irish design to the Irish sporting tradition for the proud county fan. Hand Screen printed in Dublin on cream 215gsm recycled paper. They measure 50x70cm.

7. Mourne Textiles Merino Wool Blanket

This blanket is truly an heirloom piece, to be handed from generation to generation. Woven in County Down in fabric designed by Gerd Hay-Edie and made famous by Irish fashion designer Sybil Connolly as part of her 1956 Spring collection, the Tweed Emphasize throw is an exquisite example of mid-century style. Using 'wild' spun yarn from Donegal which produces a highly textured, dappled appearance, each woven throw is completely unique, durable and rich in heritage. Who would not be thrilled to receive this?

8. Blanket by Studio Donegal

Giving someone the gift of a blanket is almost like giving them a hug. Like the Mourne Textiles one above, this is another heirloom gift. Give it to your children and hope that they in turn will pass it to theirs. Everything within the Studio Donegal label is hand woven and made in the mill in Kilcar, Co Donegal.

Ceramic incense holder made in Helen’s Belfast studio. These are limited edition and exclusive to Maven. The perfect small gift.

10. Flora Dot Earrings by Isle Jewellery
