Hay J-Series - Børge Mogensen Classics

Børge Mogensen was a Danish furniture designer and architect. Mogensen was a teaching assistant to Professor Kaare Klint at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (Klint is often described as the father of modern Danish furniture design).

During his time with Klint, Mogensen fostered a deep commitment to producing classical, simple and highly functional furniture.

The majority of his furniture was designed with industrial production in mind and is thus characterised by strong and simple lines. Hay's reproduction of Børge Mogensen's classic J41 & J42 chairs perfectly reflect his design philosophy - functionality.
